Brentor

Brentor (Brent Tor) is perched dramatically on the rugged expanse of Dartmoor, towering above surrounding villages. 

Visit the famous medieval Church, dedicated to St. Michael de la Rupe, crowning a granite outcrop and offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.  

It is a steep walk up to the church, but it is worth the effort. As well as the church the Tor is also the site of an Iron Age fort, and the earthworks are clearly visible on the way up and from the summit.
